Summer Vacation 2009 - The Epic California Adventure

Whew! We made it. 2800 miles towing our new to us tent trailer, two kids in car seats, two cases of food poisoning, one fender bender and a whole bunch of adventures later we made home in one piece and we had a WONDERFUL time.

Highlights:

Mark finally got to see my family in all it's glorious, dysfunctional splendor. I was impressed with his fortitude and graciousness. He still loves me in spite of my quirk and foibles and now he knows where I got them. (I guess you can't hide them forever!)


Beanie got to meet the princesses. When asked her favorite she is very adamant that they ALL are her favorite.


Kubby got to spend 10 days with his dad and it was a joy to see them bond.


I got to see old friends, family and thoroughly enjoyed being with my husband and my kids as we explored California, both Southern and Northern, and I finally got to see the Charles M. Schulz museum.
