College Prep - in the first grade

Preparing for college is an important part of any student's life.  I say you can never start too early.  I also say if you're gonna prep for it you might as well go all the way.


That's why we're on the college prep schedule at our school, Western Sky Elementary.  We start in early August, take most of December off and finish at the beginning of May.  Works for me!




Ok, so my kids are in Pre-K and First Grade.  But hey, it never hurts to start getting ready for college.  I mean, think of all those parents who sign their kids up for Kindergarten before they are even born.  Can you see any real difference?  I can't.


That being said, as a homeschool family summer vacation is whenever mom says it is.  And I say it's NOW!


So, here we go!  Let's get ready to have some fun.  Some summer fun 2012!
